So on Saturday my entire cosplay Nightmare Before Christmas group and I got to shoot at a very awesome location. It was a super long day that lasted almost 14 hours for most of us, and for sure at least three of us only got about 6 hours of sleep the night before. We shot at the Howie Mansion....and only got to shoot there because of a friend having an amazing connection. My friend asked three of in our cosplay group to be actors for his movie which he is filming at the mansion. Our condition in return for payment was to be able to shoot there for our N.B.C. group. We also shot with some amazing photographers so yea.....all in all, super long day but super worth it! It will be quite some time before we start getting our photos but I'm already excited for them and will start posting them as soon as they start trickling in!! Also on another note, I now have a twitter account. Go me! It only took forever! Lol. So now you can also follow me there MasumiSenpai 

Yesterday I did a photo shoot. A Neverland one. I got to be a pretty mermaid! X3 It was a super large group. About 30 people between models, photographers, mua's, and so on. It was such a blast and I'd do it again in a heart beat. We were there for about 11 hours or so for the shoot (not including drive time and such), but so worth every second of hard work. There were pirates, mermaids, a tinkerbell, Wendy and the boys, and a Tiger Lilly.....and of course a Peter Pan!! I'll post pictures when I get them and links to everyone else's sites and what not so you can check out everyone's hard work. In the mean time, one of the girls did a video blog so you can check out our day!!

So I'm super excited that I finally hit 500 likes on my fb fan page. I can't believe the over whelming support over the last couple years I've gotten from so many people. Saturday during Megacon I really pushed myself. My Utau cosplay I had done had wire in the entire skirt and I couldn't sit down at all. The two times I did sit everything had to be readjusted and it was quite time consuming. Being in heels from 9am until 530pm and not being able to sit was very draining. Not to mention my poor toes. Lol. But when I was getting ready to leave (and had taken off my boots and put my sandals back on) and looking for a taxi to go back to my hotel to change, a young girl came up to me very shyly and asked to take a picture of me. Her friend told me that they had been looking for me all day at the con because the girl had been following my progress work on my costume since January. I couldn't believe it. It really made my day and made me feel super special. Hitting the 500 likes for some reason made me remember that and remember how much I love doing what I do. One day I really want to be a guest at conventions. That's my goal. I want to move people with what I do. And I hope that one day I can do just that. So thank you to everyone who is following me, my work. It means so much to me. XD

So first entry! Yay! So Megacon was this past weekend and boyyyyy was it crazy! But definitely in a good way. And I came home to some great surprises too. So many people this weekend just blew me away with their support and love for my stuff. I just can't even, the feels!! Got to meet so many wonderful people, new friends, old friends. It was just ah-mazing. I am so grateful and thankful that I have so many wonderful people behind me on this. A few weeks before the con I was really down to be honest with some craziness that was going on, but I'm just really glad that there were people to help me through it and made me realize again how much I love what I do and that all the stress and craziness in the end is really worth it. I love you all so much! Now time to go post this on my fb. XD
